Oddworld: Abe and a Slig

This was originally just a pencil sketch I did a week or so ago. I've always been a fan of Oddworld characters and finally my drawing talent (or lack thereof) is capable of reproducing them.

Originally the sketch started out as a simple wireframe but then I noticed how well Abe's proportions fitted in. The detail was then drawn in (without any references because I'm awesome). I then drew a Slig on a seperate piece of paper but it didn't turn out the way I'd hoped. Both were scanned in, redrawn, coloured then shaded in Flash. The background was a last minute and poor addition but meh.

Despite the imperfections I think this is the kind of colouring I will attempt with some other stuff I'm working on.
